【摘要】:ThisIECTechnicalReportpresentstheimportantmaterialpropertiesforpolymericmaterialsusedinoutdoorinsulationand,whereapplicable,liststhestandardisedtestmethodsincludingtheminimumrequirements.Ifnostandardisedtestsareavailable,thentestmethodsreportedinliteraturearesummarised.Thisreportisvalidforinsulatingmaterialsusedinoutdoorhighvoltageelectricalapplicationswithasystemvoltagegreaterthan1000Va.c.havingpolymericinsulationincludingalsosuchapplicationswherethehousingisanintegralpartofthedevicese.g.insurgearrestorsandcableterminations.Thescopeofthisreportislimitedtothematerialsonly.Theperformanceofinsulatorsinservicedependsonseveralfactorssuchasthetypeofmaterial,thedesign,environmentalconditionsetc.Consequently,thechoiceofmaterialsthatfulfiltherequirementslistedbelowisanecessaryconditionbutdoesnotguaranteesatisfactoryperformancewhenusedinoutdoorinsulation.
