【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesthedimensions,themethodofsamplingandthepreparationofthetestspecimens,alsotheconditionsforperformingthelowtemperaturetensiletestperpendiculartotheweldinordertodeterminethelowtemperaturetensileweldingfactor.Alowtemperaturetensiletestmaybeusedinconjunctionwithothertests(e.g.bend,tensilecreep,macro,...)toassesstheperformanceofweldedassemblies,madefromthermoplasticsmaterials.Thelowtemperaturetensileweldingfactorandtheappearanceofthefracturesurfaceprovideaguideregardingtheductilityofthejointandthequalityofthework.Thetestisapplicabletoco-axialorco-planarweldedassembliesmadefromthermoplasticsmaterialsfilledorunfilled,butnotreinforced,irrespectiveoftheweldingprocessused.Thetestisnotapplicablefortubesofnominaldiameterlessthan20mm.
