【摘要】:Theuseofthisguideisvoluntaryandisintendedforuseasaproceduresguideforselectionandapplicationofspecifictypesofstraingagesforhigh-temperatureinstallations.Noattemptismadetorestrictthetypeofstraingagetypesorconceptstobechosenbytheuser.Theprovisionsofthisguidemaybeinvokedinspecificationsandproceduresbyspecifyingthosewhichshallbeconsideredmandatoryforthepurposeofthespecificapplication.Whensoinvoked,theusershallincludeintheworkstatementanotationthatprovisionsofthisguideshownasrecommendationshallbeconsideredmandatoryforthepurposesofthespecificationorprocedureconcerned,andshallincludeastatementofanyexceptionstoormodificationsoftheaffectedprovisionsofthisguide.1.1Thispracticecoverstheselectionandapplicationofstraingagesandassociatedinstrumentationforthemeasurementofstaticstrainuptoandincludingthetemperaturerangefrom425to650176C(800to1200176F).Thispracticereflectssomecurrentstate-of-the-arttechniquesinhightemperaturestrainmeasurement,andwillbeexpandedandupdatedasnewtechnologydevelops.1.2ThispracticeassumesthattheuserisfamiliarwiththeuseofbondedstraingagesandassociatedsignalconditioningandinstrumentationasdiscussedinRefs.(1)and(2).Thestrainmeasuringsystemsdescribedarethosethathaveproveneffectiveinthetemperaturerangeofinterestandwereavailableatthetimeofissueofthispractice.Itisnottheintentofthispracticetolimittheusertooneofthegagetypesdescribednorisittheintenttospecifythetypeofsystemtobeusedforaspecificapplication.However,inusinganystrainmeasuringsystemincludingthosedescribed,theproposermustbeabletodemonstratethecapabilityoftheproposedsystemtomeettheselectioncriteriaprovidedinSection5andtheneedsofthespecificapplication.1.3Thedevicesandtechniquesdescribedinthispracticemaybeapplicableattemperaturesaboveandbelowtherangenoted,andformakingdynamicstrainmeasurementsathightemperatureswithproperprecautions.Thegagemanufacturershouldbeconsultedforrecommendationsanddetailsofsuchapplications.1.4ThereferencesareapartofthispracticetotheextentspecifiedinthetextandAppendixesX1throughX5.1.5Thevaluesstatedinmetric(SI)unitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationpurposesonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
